For years I wanted to make an update to my old and rusty blog\/homepage. It was running on Joomla, as <a href=\"http:\/\/jorg.pareigis.se\/2\/2013\/09\/30\/the-digital-me-past-present-and-future\/\">I had worked with the CMS for some time<\/a>, running the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aflsweden.se\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AFL Sweden homepage<\/a> and in some other projects. For the last years, however, I&#8217;ve been working more with WordPress. I like WordPress much better, partly it is much easier to use, but also because I am working with awesome people at the moment who are simply super heroes with the CMS. Hands up, <a href=\"https:\/\/bavatuesdays.com\/#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jim<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/bionicteaching.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tom<\/a>. And now it is done. I transferred my few old posts to a brand new site. And it feels really good. Still a lot to work with and update, but the first step is definitely made.<\/p>\n<p>The trigger for this switch needed to come from outside. I am participating as facilitator in the <a href=\"https:\/\/opennetworkedlearning.wordpress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">open networked learning course #onl181<\/a> and participants are required to start a blog for reflection. Leading by example is important to me, so I did not really have a choice. Participating in the course is also <a href=\"http:\/\/jorg.pareigis.se\/2\/2013\/10\/11\/are-you-digital-literate-am-i\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;back to the roots&#8221;<\/a>, as I was participating as early as 2013 in the predecessor of #onl181 &#8211; FDOL131 &#8211; as open learner. <a href=\"http:\/\/jorg.pareigis.se\/2\/2015\/01\/19\/start-of-my-first-open-networked-learning-course\/\">The course influenced me a lot<\/a> and much has happened since then. I&#8217;ve been developing and running several open networked learning courses since then (<a href=\"http:\/\/hhk3.kau.se\/im\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Idea management<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/hhk3.kau.se\/servitization\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Servitization<\/a> for some current examples), have attended several international conferences on the topic (<a href=\"https:\/\/conference.oeconsortium.org\/2015\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OE Global 2015<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/conference.oeconsortium.org\/2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OE Global 2017<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/oer16.oerconf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#OER16<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/oer17.oerconf.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#OER17<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eden-online.org\/2017_jonkoping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#EDEN17<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eden-online.org\/2018_genoa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">#EDEN18<\/a>) and am happy to have worked with some amazing people throughout the years and have learned so much during that time.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m really curious where this new blog will lead me to.
